The Beldon House
This house was a brick ranch built in the 70s. The house hadn’t been lived in for awhile and needed quite a bit of work. We removed walls separating the living room from the kitchen to make it full open concept. After a lot of TLC this diamond in the rough truly started to shine. Our favorite thing about this house was the openness that was created in the main living spaces.
The Olde Links House:
The Olde Links house was a classic colonial style home situated on a golf course. The home itself was one of our smaller renovations as the work mainly consisted of cosmetic updates. We chose to keep with the classic esthetic of a Traditional Colonial for this renovation, using brushed nickel finishes with warm colors to accent all of the molding detail. What we loved the most about this renovation was the master bathroom. The heated floors, oversized shower and soaker tub really set this one apart.
The Otterdale House:
This project took almost 6 months to complete and was a full renovation inside and out. This home started in the style of a Swiss Chalet with double balcony and diamond shaped wood detailing through out the exterior. What also made this home so unique was the interior lay out. In this home, the kitchen, main living room and master are all located up stairs while the down stairs consisted of 2 additional bedrooms, a full bath, laundry room and second living room with a fireplace. The home also had a yard full of trees, debris and a swimming pool. The pool was previously filled in with dirt and completely unusable but did proved an excellent out door entertaining space once we got our hands on it.
The upstairs balcony on the exterior of the home gave me the inspiration to create a home reminiscent of a Craftsman style home. We replaced all of the small windows with larger windows to let in natural light, removed all of the diamond details as well as replacing all of the exterior siding; painting it in a warm gray with lots of white trim detail. We extended the bottom level front porch and had custom hand crafted, cedar posts made and installed by my father. The home was finished with oil rubbed bronze fixtures through out and clean, square lines evoking the classic craftsman feel.
Every inch of this home was touched by us in one way or another. The project was extensive but absolutely worth it.
The Loneridge House
This home was our very first renovation. On the exterior the home was a simple 2 story Colonial. Not a lot of work had to be externally. Some power washing, landscaping and rebuilding the front porch. Inside was a different story. Both upstairs bathrooms had leaks coming from them which took a major toll in the downstairs ceiling, HVAC was broken and the previous owners just overall weren’t so nice to the home. We decided to keep the style here very classic with brushed nickel fixtures through out, neutral paint and carpet as well as a neutral color pallet for the kitchen. This house ended up being an amazing first time renovation for us and the outcome was a very classic beautiful home.
